The Bachelor of Applied Science (Professional Honours in Environmental Geospatial Science) is a postgraduate course that integrates geospatial and environmental knowledge to make practical recommendations for enhancing decisions around places both predominantly natural and highly urban.

Course Structure

This Bachelor of Applied Science (Professional Honours in Environmental Geospatial Science) contains 50% core geospatial science units, 25% applied GIS environmentally-focussed units, and adds a 25% core environmental impact assessment training in preparation for exit at AQF8 or continuation to Masters at AQF9.

Entry Requirements

For Domestic Students

  • A Bachelor degree in any discipline or equivalent
  • Students without the stated entry requirements but who have relevant professional experience and/or training may apply

For International Students

  • Admission to this course requires qualifications equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree
  • Applicants must achieve the required grade in their qualifying studies, meet any prerequisite subjects, and the English language requirements to be eligible for an offer
  • English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic) 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0)
