Parliamentary Internship

The Parliamentary Internship is a 12-13 week program that allows students to gain hands-on experience in political research and policy-making analysis.


  • The internship can be undertaken by any bachelor's degree level student with available electives.
  • Students will take on a part-time placement with a Member of Parliament or a Parliamentary Committee.
  • The internship requires a partnership between the University and the placement agency, and students must obtain the approval of the unit coordinator before enrolling.
  • As part of the internship, students will be tasked with creating a research-oriented report, which will allow them to showcase their potential and demonstrate their abilities.
