Program Overview
Introduction to Ceramics 1 Unit
The Ceramics 1 unit introduces students to ceramics practices through hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and creative projects. Students will undertake small experiments to gain and apply knowledge of ceramic techniques and explore surface possibilities through the firing process. An independent project allows students to explore techniques further, resulting in a realized creative project. The unit is an introductory level unit for students studying in the creative arts, design, and other subject areas.
