Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education

The Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to excel in the field of education.

Professional Experience Units

To undertake Professional Experience, students must be enrolled in the correct unit. The program consists of several Professional Experience units, including:

• Professional Experience 1 - EPR100: Students commencing prior to 2021 must complete ESH102, ESH110, and ESH120, while students commencing in 2021 or later must complete EDU102, EPR110, and EDU120.
• Professional Experience 2 - EPR200: Students must have successfully completed EPR100/ESH101 to undertake EPR200.
• Professional Experience Birth to 2 years EDP731
• Professional Experience 3 to 5 years (Kinder) EDP732 (20 days)
• Professional Experience 3 - Prep - Grade 2 - EPR300: Students must have successfully completed all first, second, and third-year units, including EPR200/ESH200, and be enrolled in EDU306 Preparing for the Profession as a co-requisite unit.

• PE2 Prep Grade 6: BEd Expectations - EPR200 - ESP200 - PE2
• PE3 - Birth - 2 years: Grad Cert ECE Expectations - EDP704 and EDP731 - Birth-2 yrs
• PE4 - 3 - 5 years: Grad Cert ECE Expectations - EDP732 (20 days)
• PE5 Prep - Grade 2: BEd Expectations EPR300 - ESP300 - PE3
