Program Overview
Introduction to the DREAM Suite
The DREAM suite, comprising Education, Community of Practice, and Coaching, is offered by the College of Health & Medicine at the University of Tasmania (UTAS). These courses are designed for individuals worldwide who wish to benefit from health-focused research and education programs.
Terms and Conditions
Participants in the DREAM suite agree to the Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legally binding agreement between the participant and UTAS. These terms supersede any prior agreements and are subject to change at UTAS's sole discretion.
Acceptance of Terms
A participant is a person who signs up to the sites and agrees to these Terms and Conditions. A visitor is a person who does not sign up to a course but browses the sites.
Right to Change or Modify Terms
UTAS reserves the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on the sites.
Access to Sites
All participants and visitors are expected to have up-to-date anti-virus software and take reasonable steps to prevent malicious attacks. UTAS cannot guarantee access to the sites at all times.
Age Restrictions
Participation in the courses is restricted to persons 18 years of age or older, or those with parental or guardian consent. The courses are not available to persons under 13 years of age.
User Profiles
Visitors may view the sites and use the content where it has been made openly available. To participate in a course, one must sign up for a personal profile, providing an email address and password, and agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions.
Personal Information
Personal information collected from participants will be managed in accordance with applicable laws and the UTAS Privacy Policy. UTAS will use this information to verify identity, create a user profile, record participation, and provide information and instruction.
Use of Information
UTAS collects personal information such as gender and occupation when enrolling in a course. This information may be used to send updates about site maintenance, course information, and other services.
Disclosures
Personally identifiable information may be shared in response to requests from law enforcement, to respond to court orders, or to prevent illegal activities. It may also be shared with contracted service providers or in connection with an acquisition, merger, or reorganization of UTAS.
Records and Archives
Personally identifiable information will be recorded and archived in accordance with the uses stated in the Terms and Conditions and as required by applicable law.

The sites may contain hyperlinks to external websites not owned or operated by UTAS. Participants should review the privacy policies of these sites before use.
Disclaimer of Student-University Relationship
Participants in the courses are not students of UTAS and have no right to use UTAS resources or property except as provided in the Terms and Conditions.
Certification and Credit
Subject to satisfactory performance, participants may be awarded a certificate acknowledging completion of the course. This certificate does not indicate completion of an accredited award course and is not intended to attract academic credit.
Right to Change or Discontinue Courses
UTAS and the instructors reserve the right to cancel, discontinue, or reschedule courses or remove, change, or modify content at any time without notice.
Trademarks
Nothing in the Terms and Conditions grants a license or right to reproduce, download, distribute, or use any logo or trademark displayed on the courses or sites.
License to Use Sites and Course Content
UTAS grants a limited right to access and use the sites, courses, and content for personal study and participation in the courses. Participants must not copy, reproduce, adapt, change, modify, communicate, distribute, transfer, publicly display, publish, sell, or commercially exploit any part of the sites, courses, or content.
User Contributions
Participants may upload, submit, distribute, or make available forum and discussion postings and other information. By doing so, they represent and warrant that the user contribution does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate the rights of any third party.
License Granted by Participant
By uploading or submitting user contributions, participants grant UTAS and its affiliates and licensors a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, transferable, assignable, sublicensable, worldwide right and non-exclusive license to host, transfer, reproduce, communicate, distribute, and otherwise use the user contributions.
Rules for Online Conduct
Participants must abide by all applicable laws, rules, and regulations and not use the courses or sites to post or disseminate prohibited content, including content that defames, harasses, or threatens others.
Claims of Copyright Infringement
If a participant believes their content or materials are available on the sites in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, they should notify UTAS via the Copyright Infringement Notification Form.
Disclaimer of Warranties
UTAS provides no warranty with regard to the suitability of the course content for any particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
UTAS shall not be liable for any consequential, special, incidental, indirect, or punitive damages arising out of or related to access to the courses, use of the site, or the content.
Indemnity
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless UTAS, its subsidiaries, and affiliates from and against any third-party actions, claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, and damages.
Termination Rights
UTAS may terminate a participant's participation in the courses and/or use of the sites for any reason or no reason without liability.
Rights Transfer or Assignment
UTAS reserves the right to transfer or assign its rights and delegate its obligations under the Terms and Conditions. Participants will not delegate, transfer, or assign any portion of their obligations without prior written consent from UTAS.
Waiver and Severance of Terms
A provision of the Terms and Conditions may not be waived or varied except by agreement in writing by the parties. If any provision is void, voidable, or unenforceable, it must be read down accordingly.
Jurisdiction
The Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania, and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania.
