Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery Program

The Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery program is designed to train students to care for women, people assigned female at birth, and newborns. The program focuses on the joys of birth and patients' reproductive and primary care needs, from family planning and routine screenings.

The program is mostly online with some in-person requirements on the CU Anschutz Campus in Aurora, CO. The average time to complete the program is 2.5 years, which is equivalent to 7 semesters.


Exam Preparation

Upon completion of the program, students can sit for the Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) exam.


Clinical Placements

The program offers guaranteed clinical placements for Denver- and Aurora-based students at midwifery clinics. Students will work alongside faculty who will mentor and guide them through the experience.
