Division of General Internal Medicine
The Division of General Internal Medicine is a part of the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado.
School of Medicine
The School of Medicine is one of the schools at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, which also includes the Graduate School, School of Dental Medicine, College of Nursing, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Colorado School of Public Health.
Program Leadership
The Primary Care Residency Program is led by:
- Yasmin Sacro, MD, Program Director, who completed her BA in Biological Sciences and Economics at the University of Chicago and graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
- Christine Haynes, MD, MPH, Assistant Program Director, who studied international affairs and global health at Georgetown University and received her MD and MPH from Northwestern University.
- Jacinda Mawson Nicklas, MD, MPH, MA, Director of Primary Care Research, who completed her BA in Human Biology and her MA in Anthropology at Stanford University and received her MD from Harvard Medical School.

The program provides various research and education opportunities, including the GIM Qualitative Research Core, QUEST, and the Health and Primary Care Informatics & Innovation Lab.
