Program Overview


Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship

The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship is a one-year program designed to prepare trainees for a range of careers in the care of children with CNS tumors and investigation of these diseases.


Program Features

  • Train in one of the nation's top sections of pediatric oncology and children's hospitals.
  • The pediatric neuro-oncology program is the main center for the entire seven-state Rocky Mountain region and has a strong, extensive history of clinical and research accomplishments.
  • The program is centered on the fellow's career goals, with flexibility to accommodate individual interests.
  • Fellows will have one day of clinic per week, with more as desired, and will develop a panel of primary patients.
  • Fellows will have 1-2 week rotations in neuropathology and neuroradiology, with additional rotations in radiation oncology, neuropsychology, ophthalmology, and neurology available based on interest.
  • The goal is for fellows to continue and/or develop work in basic, translational, and/or clinical research during the fellowship year.
