Interior Design Certificate

The Interior Design Certificate is a post-baccalaureate certificate program that provides students with the professional knowledge, competency, and applied skills necessary for the practice of interior design.


Eligibility

Application to the Interior Design Certificate is open to all students holding a completed bachelor's degree, or are currently pursuing or have completed a master's degree.


Program Requirements

  • Students must earn at least a B- grade in all required courses for the certificate.
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required in the courses for the certificate.
  • The Interior Design Certificate requires students to complete four classes in the Department of Interior Design for a total of 15 hours.

Curriculum

The following are the required core classes:


  • INTD 5005: Introduction to Interior Design (3 hours)
  • INTD 5100: Drawing Out the Interiors (3 hours)
  • INTD 6200: Interior Design Workshop (3 hours)
  • 6 hours of additional INTD coursework (5000 level or above)
