The American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons (ASMS) inaugurated a craniomaxillofacial course in Cairo, Egypt. The course was chaired by Dr. Phuong Nguyen, MD, FACS, and took place from January 24th to January 26th, 2025.

- Cleft lip repair
- Orthognathic surgery
- Facial trauma

The course featured an international faculty from:
- North America

- Spain
- Egypt Over 100 learners attended the course, including many from countries with limited regular access, such as:

Program Significance
The course aimed to address the limited expertise in facial trauma available locally.
