Program Overview
Introduction to Rejuvenate
Rejuvenate is a programme designed to support women in their return to the workforce after a career break. The programme is fully funded by Taste4Success Skillnet and is run in conjunction with University College Cork.
Programme Overview
The Rejuvenate programme is a 13-session course that runs every Tuesday from 9:30am to 12pm. The programme is delivered online, allowing women from around the country to participate. The course is designed to help women build their confidence, learn practical job hunting skills, and develop a career action plan.
Programme Content
The programme covers a range of topics, including:
- Self-assessment and Training Needs Analysis, Professional Motivation
- Strategies to build Confidence, Resilience and Assertiveness
- Professional Network Development
- Mentoring and Active Career Management
- Key job searching skills – CVs, Cover Letters, Interview Preparation, Working with Job Agencies
- Digital Skills - LinkedIn, Social Media Management and Zoom
- Working in a Team and Balancing Work and Life
- A project - Career Action Plan
Programme Team
The programme is led by Ingrid Seim, an experienced coach, speaker, trainer, and facilitator. Ingrid is joined by career and interview coach Angela Smiddy and a number of other guest lecturers.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to participate in the Rejuvenate programme, women must be:
- Unemployed and not attending any other courses
- Living in Ireland
- Planning to return to the workforce
