The Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics makes substantial contributions to various modules for medical students.

Modules for Graduate Entry Medical Students

• First Year Graduate Entry:
  • GM1001 Fundamentals of Medicine I (20 credits)
  • GM1002 Fundamentals of Medicine II (20 credits)
  • GM1003 Fundamentals of Medicine III (15 credits)
• Second Year Graduate Entry:
  • GM2001 Fundamentals of Medicine IV (10 credits)
• Small Group Learning:
  • Case-based, student-led tutorials as part of the modules Fundamentals of Medicine I-IV

Contributions to Undergraduate Medical Students

The Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics contributes a series of 19 lectures in Therapeutics to the fourth year Undergraduate Medical students and third year Graduate Entry Medical students as part of the module CP4004 Fundamentals of Adult Disease.

Workshops and Additional Contributions

• The department coordinates and contributes to workshops in Safe Prescribing.
• The department's contributions are part of the modules for both Undergraduate Entry (CK701) and Graduate Entry (CK791) medical students.
