The Digital Badge - Praxis: Global Citizenship and Development Education is a self-paced course.

Criteria

The following criteria are expected to be demonstrated by learners:

1. Learners will demonstrate an understanding of key GCDE themes, skills, values, methodologies and ideas of active civic engagement for social change.
2. Learners will demonstrate that they can apply critical GCDE theory and practice to their work (e.g. to pedagogy, policy development, practice, projects and research).
3. Show an ability to take critically informed, responsible action on a social, cultural, environmental, economic or political challenge, injustice or inequality through engaged citizenship and illustrate that they can support or encourage their students or other third level stakeholders to do the same.
4. Demonstrate ability to use a set of analytical, reflective, creative and digital competencies aimed at positive social change.
