Program Overview
The MA in Teaching of Interpreting is a postgraduate program that requires proven interpreting experience. Alternatively, a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching of Interpreting can be pursued with an MA, MS, or MBA degree and proven interpreting experience.
General Requirements
General requirements for all Master of Arts and Certificate programs include:
- Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent
- GRE scores optional but may be requested
- Three letters of recommendation (at least two academic and one from a current employer, if applicable)
- TOEFL or IELTS scores from students who have not received a college degree from a U.S. institution
- Statement of interest and/or relevance of the program for professional development
International Student Requirements
International students must present certified translated copies of their transcripts in English.
Admission Criteria
Admission to the program is based on the fulfillment of the general requirements and the specific requirements for the MA in Teaching of Interpreting or the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching of Interpreting.
