Location

London is one of Europe's largest and most cosmopolitan cities. Its famous sites include Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus, and Westminster Abbey. With a multitude of art galleries, museums, and pubs, London is endlessly interesting. The underground rail "tube" system provides easy access to all parts of the city. Students may conveniently visit Canterbury, Oxford, Bath, Dover, and other destinations (Scotland and Wales) via the excellent British railway system.

Program

WFU students will generally receive 3 hours of WFU credit, pass/fail. Students will be enrolled in BEM 391 which counts as general elective credit towards graduation. Grades will be based on the assignments given in EUSA seminar courses and weekly journals. If you wish to seek credit from a separate academic department, please discuss this option with the academic advisor.

One week orientation followed by the three week How Britain Works seminar followed by a four-week full time internship placement.

Accommodation

Students will be housed in fully furnished residences in London that are specially designed for the student lifestyle. This means a comfortable atmosphere in a residence hall or flat of European proportions – students may find that things are a bit smaller and that space is more limited than one might expect on a US campus. Students will have access to a kitchen with modern cooking facilities, common areas, and high speed internet. Rooms are doubles.
