Program Overview
Casa Artom Program
The Casa Artom Program offers students the opportunity to study and live at Casa Artom, situated along the Grand Canal in Venice. Each semester or summer session, a resident professor leads a group of up to 20 students and offers two courses in their respective discipline. Resident professors are chosen from a wide variety of academic departments.
Program Details
- Students have the chance to integrate into the local culture through courses in Italian language or literature, Italian art and architecture, history, and economics, taught by Venetian professors.
- Group excursions throughout Venice and surrounding cities enhance the learning experience, along with numerous integrative experiences within the city itself.
- Prior study of Italian language is not required, but may be determined by the resident professor.
