Introduction to the WomenTOring Project

The WomenTOring project is an initiative aimed at promoting the presence of females in professional and entrepreneurial fields. This project is developed in collaboration with the TOxD association - Torino cittą per le donne, with the involvement of the Politecnico di Torino and numerous professors from the DiSAT department.

Project Description

The project's primary objective is to establish and develop a female network based on the relationship between women who have gained significant professional and entrepreneurial experience (Mentors) and young women interested in being supported in their professional growth and self-affirmation (Mentees). The project involves at least three one-to-one meetings between Mentors and Mentees, scheduled according to their respective needs, with the support of a self-assessment platform for monitoring progress.

Target Group

The project targets young women, both Italian and foreign, between the ages of 18 and 30, residing in the city of Torino or its metropolitan area, or living there for study or work purposes. These women submit concrete problems related to career guidance, difficulties in continuing their studies, or finding motivating thesis or internship proposals with growth prospects.
