Program Overview


Introduction to the 2nd Level Specializing Master's Programme

The 2nd level Specializing Master's programme in Next-Gen Nuclear Power: Fusion and Advanced Reactors is designed to support graduates in developing specific competences for the design, operation, and maintenance of next-generation fusion and fission power plants.


Programme Objectives

The goal of the programme is to integrate the students' engineering knowledge with state-of-the-art know-how on next-generation fusion and fission power plants. This includes innovative design, new reactor components, innovative technologies, materials and fuel cycle, energy conversion systems, safety aspects, and regulation.

Selection and Admission

Selected candidates will be hired by Eni, and upon completion of the programme, they will be awarded the 2nd level Specializing Master's diploma. Eni has undertaken to recruit a maximum of 15 apprentices.
