Course Aim
The course aims to introduce students to techniques of wheel throwing and coiling as a means to create and explore functional and abstracted vessels in clay.
Course Content
Students will develop skills in wheel throwing, coiling, and will be introduced to colored slips and glazes as a means of exploring the potential of the surface. Students will gain knowledge in historical and contemporary ceramic methods.
Prerequisites
Students must complete the nominated online WHS module prior to commencing the course.
