Orientation is the first day of university, taking place one week before official classes begin. The schedule is tailored to the program and includes activities such as tours, information sessions, and current student panels. These activities are designed to provide students with everything they need to know for a smooth start to university life.

On-Campus Orientation

• Time: Thursday, 24 July 2025
  • Registration: 9:30am 10:30am
  • Session & Campus Activity: 12:30pm 2:00pm
• Description: The on-campus orientation includes program-specific activities.
• Location: Mount Gambier Campus, Learning Centre Building, Foyer

Online Orientation

• Time: Thursday, 24 July 2025, 4:00pm 5:00pm (ACST)
• Description: The online student panel allows students to hear from current UniSA students and ask questions about university life. There will also be online activities to connect students with their peers.

Preparation

To prepare for orientation, students should:

• Log into the myUniSA Student Portal
• Enrol into courses
• Complete the UniSA Ready modules
• Download the UniSA App
• Get a student ID card
• Follow UniSA on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with campus events
