Programme Courses

The courses include:

• Basic Seminars: Provide an introduction into epidemiology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and therapy of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. One course is offered in the winter term and one in the summer term.
• Journal Clubs: Cover topics such as vascular malformation, injury and repair in cardiovascular biology, hemodynamics and ventilation in neonates, gender aspects in cardiovascular medicine, and applied research in cardiac surgery.
• Seminars: Cover topics such as basic and clinical aspects in cardiovascular and pulmonary disease, challenges in perioperative coagulation management, progress in cardiovascular and pulmonary critical care, vascular biology, and coronary intervention.
