Introduction to Red Raider Academy

The Red Raider Academy is a program designed for young students to immerse themselves in the spirit of Texas Tech University. The academy offers engaging sessions tailored for different age groups, providing age-appropriate opportunities for campers to discover the excitement of university life.

Program Details

The Red Raider Academy is divided into two age groups:

Ages 7-10 (Rising 2nd Graders - Rising 5th Graders)

• Dates: June 9 - 12, 2026
• Time: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (half-day)
• Cost: $200
• Description: This half-day camp introduces young campers to the excitement of Texas Tech University. Through a blend of age-appropriate academic challenges and hands-on activities, campers explore what it means to be a Red Raider.

Ages 11 - 14 (Rising 6th Graders - Rising 9th Graders)

• Dates: June 22 - 26, 2026
• Time: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Cost: $350
• Description: This full-day camp gives students a glimpse of their future through career exploration and various academic experiences. Campers enjoy a variety of hands-on experiences that provide insight into different fields of study and recreational activities, giving them a taste of college life.
