Event Management Program

The Event Management program is designed to prepare students for a career in event planning and management. The program provides students with a strong foundation in business and management, as well as hands-on experience in event planning and management.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the Event Management program, students must meet the admission requirements of Texas Tech University.

Degree Requirements

The Event Management program requires 120 hours of coursework, including:

• 42 hours of general education courses
• 30 hours of business courses
• 48 hours of event management courses

Career Outcomes

Graduates of the Event Management program are prepared for careers in event planning and management, including:

• Wedding planning
• Conference planning
• Festival management
