Online Master of Science in Sport Management
The Master of Science in Sport Management online program allows students to earn their degree via flexible, asynchronous, online delivery. Courses in the online MS program are taught over an 8-week period, with students able to take up to 2 courses during the first 8 weeks and then 2 courses during the second 8 weeks. This enables students to complete 4 classes each semester and finish the MS program in one calendar year.

- SPMT 5321 Financial Management in Sport (only offered in spring)

- SPMT 5329 Sport Event Management (only offered in fall)
- SPMT 5346 Law in the Sport Industry (only offered in spring)
- SPMT 5347 Sport Media Management (only offered in fall)
- SPMT 5348 Sponsorship and Endorsement in Sport (only offered in spring)

Program Details
Students in this program may be current, working sport industry professionals seeking a graduate degree to enhance their credentials for career advancement in the sport industry. They are encouraged to share and apply their professional experiences to course concepts and topics. Students also have the opportunity to apply course concepts to identify solutions to issues facing the sport industry, including those in their current profession.
The program provides students with theoretical knowledge and practical, industry-based experience in areas such as sport marketing, media and communication, facility and event management, leadership, and financial management in sport. Students have the option of completing an internship, which allows them to gain hands-on experience working in different areas within a sport organization.
