Program Overview
Supplemental Instruction
What is SI?
Supplemental Instruction (SI) provides a unique peer-to-peer learning experience in an interactive group environment called SI Sessions. The SI Sessions are regularly scheduled review sessions led by SI Leaders (undergraduate students) who have previously earned an A in the course. SI Leaders are trained on facilitation strategies, learning strategies, and collaborative learning techniques to encourage student-to-student interaction. Students enrolled in a course where SI is offered will receive a weekly email from their SI Leader(s) with session information.
