Master's in Electrical Engineering

The Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) program is designed for students who wish to discover new knowledge via a research-oriented degree that culminates with a thesis. It is ideal for those who aspire to earn a doctorate degree in electrical engineering.

Curriculum

The MSEE is an academic, research-based degree offered under the OSU Graduate College Traditional Path (Plan 1) including a thesis. It is intended for students who wish to make fundamental contributions to the understanding and practice of engineering science and techniques. It is also intended to prepare students for the PhD program.

The OSU branch of IEEE enlightens students about career opportunities, technological innovations, and research breakthroughs in the areas of electrical and computer engineering.

• Dr. Pejman Ghasemzadeh is an assistant professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research focuses on wireless communications, machine/deep learning, and signal processing.

Admissions

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit application materials at least six months prior to the start of the semester.
