The Sungkyunkwan University Graduate School of Business operates two specialized departments: the Insurance Finance Department and the Finance Department. The primary objective of these departments is to cultivate practical and professional talent that can respond to the global financial environment.

Program Details

Insurance Finance Department

The Insurance Finance Department was established in September 2008 in collaboration with Samsung Life Insurance Co., Ltd. This department offers a master's program in insurance finance, with the goal of re-educating approximately 20 talented individuals each year.

Finance Department

The Finance Department was established in February 2013 in partnership with five financial affiliates of the Samsung Group:

• Samsung Life Insurance Co., Ltd.
• Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd.
• Samsung Card Co., Ltd.
• Samsung Securities Co., Ltd.
• Samsung Asset Management Co., Ltd. This department offers a master's program in finance, aiming to re-educate around 30 talented individuals every two years.

Program Outcomes

Students who complete these programs earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and go on to work in the finance and insurance industries, leveraging their practical experience and specialized knowledge to become financial leaders.
