Program Overview

The International Summer Semester (ISS) at Sungkyunkwan University offers a unique cultural exploration program, the Jeju Trip, which is limited to 60 ISS students.


Special Program: Jeju Trip

The Jeju Trip is a 2-night, 3-day cultural exploration that allows students to experience Korea beyond the classroom. The program includes natural wonders, local market flavors, and eco-conscious activities.

  • Program: Jeju Trip (ISS Optional Program)
  • Dates: July 17 (Fri) – July 19 (Sun), 2026 (tentative; subject to change)
  • Location: Jeju Island, South Korea
  • Eligibility: ISS 2026 enrolled students only (enrollment will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis)
  • Fee: 600,000 KRW (tentative; final amount will be announced later and will cover transportation, lodging, meals, and activity fees)

  • Explore Jeju's natural wonders, markets, and coastal views
  • Hands-on cultural experiences in Dongmun Market & tea workshops
  • Day 2 highlight: Join a unique plogging (eco walk) + Kingo Walkathon with SKKU students
