OSU Writing Project
Overview
The Oklahoma State University Writing Project is dedicated to supporting both the teaching of writing and helping teachers see themselves as writers. The project works with districts, schools, and educators from Pre-K to college in sustained professional development centered around writing, literacy, and the art of teaching.
Programs
- Professional Development and Resources: The project designs adaptable, classroom-ready resources to meet the needs of educators.
- Summer Institute: Teachers of all subjects and grade levels are invited to explore best practices, write and respond to others' writing, and read and discuss current research.
Mission Statement
The Oklahoma State University Writing Project is dedicated to improving the teaching and learning of writing in Oklahoma classrooms. In conjunction with the National Writing Project, the project supports and empowers education colleagues through professional development opportunities that connect teaching with practice.
