Emergency Response and CPR
Practice Completion Standards
Practice completion standards apply to all students who wish to obtain a teacher's certificate.
- Target: All students who wish to obtain a teacher's certificate (Education College undergraduate students, general graduate school teacher training course completers, Education Graduate School students, current students, and graduates)
- Mandatory completion times: 2 times or more during enrollment (for students expected to graduate after August 2017)
- Emergency response and CPR practice refers to practice education on emergency response and CPR methods.
Notes
- Currently, graduates or students on leave must also complete the practice according to their expected graduation semester.
- Completion is required regardless of the current academic year (or semester) and remaining semester.
- Failure to complete emergency response and CPR practice will result in no issuance of a teacher's certificate (graduation not possible for Education College students)
Emergency Response and CPR Practice Completion Guide
- On-campus practice completion: Education College hosts on-campus emergency response and CPR practice (held once per semester, on Fridays and Saturdays)
- Off-campus specialized institution practice completion: Recognized if completed at an external specialized institution [Recognition requirements: minimum 3 hours (2 hours practice + 1 hour theory)]

- Practice completion procedure
- On-campus practice completion: Student information system (GLS) -> Application/Qualification Management -> Practice Application -> Approval -> Practice Completion -> GLS "Completion" mark
- Off-campus practice completion: Individual application and completion at a partnered institution, followed by submission of a practice record or certificate to the Education College administration office.
