Course Overview
The YR YR3 Entrepreneurial Leadership course is a 6 ECTS program designed to equip students with the skills to analyze the transformation process of a startup into an established enterprise.
Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, students will gain the ability to understand and explain the transformation process of a startup into an established enterprise. The course will enhance their knowledge in understanding managerial and leadership challenges associated with the transformation process.
Content
This course is designed to enhance students' understanding of the managerial and leadership complexities that arise as a startup matures into an established enterprise. Students will examine these issues at both the individual and organizational levels, utilizing case studies, guest speaker presentations, and lectures.
Study Methods
The course study methods include:
- Participation in classroom work
- Case exercises conducted in groups
- Group and individual reports
Course Unit Methods
The course unit methods consist of:
- 14 hours of classroom work
- 10 hours of case exercises
- 138 hours of individual/group work

The course readings and case study materials will be provided by the lecturer throughout the course.

The course is equivalent to the previous course YR YR3 Managing a Growing Business and YR YR3 Grow up. There is a student quota of 10 for Open University students.
