Program Overview
Introduction to the Advanced Training Course
The "Deep-Super Deep Oil and Gas Reservoir Formation and High-Efficiency Exploration" advanced training course is designed to provide in-depth understanding of the mechanisms of oil and gas reservoir formation, accumulation rules, and dynamic mechanisms in deep and super-deep layers. The course aims to enhance the ability to predict complex reservoirs, evaluate resources, and make exploration decisions.
Course Objectives
- Focus on the forefront of deep and super-deep oil and gas reservoirs and exploration theories and technologies.
- Explore the application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data in deep exploration.
- Establish a platform for exchange between industry, academia, and research to promote technological innovation and collaboration.
Target Audience
- Technical personnel and engineers from petroleum and geological exploration units.
- Researchers from related fields in research institutes and universities.
- Professional personnel from local government resource and energy management departments and industry associations.
Course Content
The course spans 7 days, with 56 hours of instruction (44 theoretical hours and 12 practical hours). It combines theoretical lectures, case discussions, and field practice to teach the forefront theories and technologies of deep and super-deep oil and gas reservoirs and exploration.
Faculty
The instructors are core teachers from the School of Resources, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), with rich experience in conventional and unconventional oil and gas exploration. They have made significant contributions to the development of oil and gas exploration in China.
