Eugene McDermott Scholars Program

The Eugene McDermott Scholars Program is a prestigious scholarship program offered by the University of Texas at Dallas.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a first-time college student applying for admission to the fall term immediately following high school graduation.
• Submit complete applications to UT Dallas and the McDermott Scholars Program by the deadlines. The deadlines for submission are typically in early 2026 (January February), and applicants will be notified of their eligibility for review during this period.
• Be in the top academic tenth of the UT Dallas entering class and receive an Academic Excellence Scholarship (AES) award offer from UT Dallas.
