Course Overview

The course KISA0019 Working Life German for Beginners I is a 4 ECTS program designed to introduce students to the German language in a study-related and work-related context.


Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to:


  • use simple linguistic structures in communication
  • understand the essential content of study-related and work-related texts
  • understand the professional and working world in its cultural contexts
  • use their language repertoire and the possibilities of artificial intelligence strategically when learning German

Content

The content of the course is oriented towards study-related and subject-specific contexts, such as everyday academic life, studying, society, and worklife. Receptive and productive communicative skills are practiced in an integrated manner, with a focus on training oral production and reception (listening and reading) functional for mastering specialized and professional tasks.
