Introduction to the EC2U Summer School

The EC2U Summer School is an event that brings together students, professors, and experts from all seven universities in the EC2U alliance. The theme of the summer school is "Transgenerational Aging & Gendered Life-Cycle Approach."

Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible for the summer school, students must:

• Be from one of the EC2U alliance universities
• Have a good command of the English language
• Have knowledge of at least one of the following fields:
  • Biology
  • Physiology
  • Psychology
  • Nutrition
  • Sports
  • Physiotherapy
  • Public Health
  • Mental Health
  • Reproductive and Sexual Health
  • Gerontology

Application and Selection Process

The application process for the summer school is competitive, and selection is based on the following criteria:

• Knowledge of biology, anatomy, physiology, psychology, nutrition, sports, rehabilitation, public health, mental health, reproductive and sexual health, gerontology, human development, sports, wellness, and other social sciences
• Demonstrated motivation

Program Details

The summer school will take place from September 18 to 25 and will include:

• Innovative workshops and lectures
• Team-building activities
• Sports activities
• The opportunity to earn 3 ECTS credits upon completion of the program

Funding and Support

Successful applicants will receive a mobility grant, which includes:

• A daily allowance for the duration of the summer school
• A travel allowance of 400 euros
• The total grant amount is 1,440 euros

Organization and Hosting

The summer school is part of the EC2U "Good Health and Wellbeing" work package and is organized by the EC2U universities. The event will be hosted in Pavia, Italy.
