Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Student Induction Program
The HDR Student Induction Program is a mandatory two-part program for all commencing HDR students. The program consists of:
Part 1: HDR Online Induction
The HDR Online Induction is a compulsory component of the higher degree by research candidature and provides students with the necessary information to kickstart their degree. The induction includes the following modules:
- Module 1: Getting Started with your HDR
- Module 2: Managing your Candidature
- Module 3: Research Management
- Module 4: Skills Development
- Module 5: Research Support
- Module 6: Course Completion
Part 2: HDR Induction Seminar
The HDR Induction Seminar is a compulsory two-hour seminar held on campus each semester for new HDR students. The seminar provides an opportunity for students to connect and network with their peers and hear from the Dean of Graduate Research, the Office of Graduate Research staff, and current and past students.
