The Professional Program in Finance (PPF) at the Jindal School of Management develops top finance talent equipped to excel in investment banking, private equity, asset management, consulting, and corporate finance.
Our Mission
To deliver the technical mastery, industry access, and leadership development required to launch high-impact careers in global finance. Succinctly put, PPF aims to be a nationally recognized pipeline of future finance leaders, producing graduates ready to contribute and lead from day one.
Key Initiatives Supporting Our Mission Include:
- Career Placement: Exceptional placement in top Wall Street and global firms through immersive training, mentorship, and strong employer partnerships.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced preparation in financial modeling, valuation, capital markets analysis, and programming (Python, VBA, SQL, R) – including applied prompt engineering.
- Professional Growth: Engagement with alumni and industry leaders, participation in case competitions, conferences, and pursuit of professional designations.
- Student-Led Engagement: Student officers lead committees in mentorship, communications, and event planning, ensuring peer-to-peer development and program impact.
Program Description
The PPF is focused on providing late sophomore and early junior finance students the opportunity to enrich their university education with practical knowledge obtained by interning at top-tier corporations. Students will have access to mentors and hands-on experiential learning courses. In addition, during their time in the program, PPF students' softer skills (e.g. communication, presentation, business etiquette, time management etc.) are also honed and fine-tuned to equip every graduating student with the resources and ability to perform and succeed at the highest level.
