PhD Scholarship - Enhancing Adherence and Self-Management in the Treatment of Respiratory Conditions (ENGAGEMENT) Project

Overview

The PhD Scholarship - Enhancing Adherence and Self-Management in the Treatment of Respiratory Conditions (ENGAGEMENT) Project is a research project that aims to improve the treatment of respiratory conditions. The project is funded by the MRFF and is a 5-year study that consists of three phases: co-design of the ENGAGEMENT model of care, a pragmatic, single-blind, randomised controlled trial (RCT), and economic evaluation and knowledge translation.


Description

The PhD student will develop a program of research with the project supervisors from across Flinders University, Monash University, University of Melbourne, CSIRO, and health services. The project will focus on enhancing adherence and self-management in the treatment of respiratory conditions.


Benefits

The scholarship provides a stipend of $35,010 per annum, indexed each year, for a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 3.5 years.


Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have entry into the Flinders University PhD program. Prospective applicants who have not already applied for admission to a relevant HDR program must also apply via the Flinders website.
