Course Description

Biochemistry is a natural science that studies the chemical structure of living organisms and the chemical changes that occur within them. The research subjects include various life phenomena at the molecular level in humans, animals, plants, and microorganisms. The knowledge of biochemistry can be utilized in the development of medicines and food products. This introductory course to biochemistry explores the field of biochemistry, the job description of a biochemist, and how biochemistry is present in our everyday lives. It also discusses how biochemistry is applied in various fields.
