Graduate Certificate in Health Promotion

The Graduate Certificate in Health Promotion is designed to drive positive change by promoting health and preventing disease in communities. This program equips students to apply health promotion principles in clinical and community settings.

The Graduate Certificate in Health Promotion provides a strong foundation in contemporary health promotion practice. Students will explore the determinants of health and wellbeing, public health models, and multidisciplinary approaches, with topics including social determinants of health, action strategies, and primary health care in developing countries.


Entry Requirements

To be accepted into this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:


  • Applicants must normally hold a degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have their candidature approved by the Dean (Education).
  • Applicants who do not hold a bachelor's degree but have relevant professional experience should provide employment experience information in their application.
