Camp T.U.R.F. was a two-week, residential academy at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.

Program Details

The academy allowed students to interact with professors and explore a variety of careers in horticulture and landscaping through hands-on activities at:

• Botanical gardens
• Field research stations
• A turfgrass research center
• Greenhouses
• Research laboratories
• Design workshops
• Special OSU facilities, including:
  • The Insect Adventure
  • The Botanic Garden

Curriculum and Activities

Helpful sessions about college admission, financial aid, and skills for success were included in the academy, as well as evening and recreational activities.
