Program Overview
University of Tsukuba Extension Program
The University of Tsukuba Extension Program is a collaborative effort between the University of Tsukuba and the Ibaraki Golf Club. This program combines the university's expertise in sports science with the practical guidance of a tournament-winning tour professional golfer.
2025 University of Tsukuba Premium Golf Course Basic
This course is designed for intermediate to advanced golfers, with a focus on improving their skills through a combination of lectures and practical lessons.
Overview
The course consists of six sessions, each including a lecture and practical training. Participants will learn about the history and basics of golf, as well as receive personalized instruction tailored to their individual style.

The course will be held on the following dates:

- June 21, 2025 (Saturday) 13:00 - 17:00

- July 2, 2025 (Wednesday) 7:00 - 15:00
- July 12, 2025 (Saturday) 13:00 - 17:00
Daily Schedule
- 13:00 - Reception
- 13:20 - 14:20 Lecture (in the club house)
- 14:30 - 14:45 Warm-up
- 14:45 - 16:45 Practice and training
- 16:50 - 17:00 Cool down
Target Participants
This course is designed for intermediate to advanced golfers with an average score of around 95.
Number of Participants
The course is limited to 12 participants, with a minimum of 7 required for the course to proceed.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee for the course is 110,000 yen (including tax). Note that participants are responsible for their own golf course usage fees on July 2.
Certificate of Completion
Participants who complete at least 4 out of the 6 sessions will receive a certificate of completion from the University of Tsukuba.
Application Period
Applications will be accepted until May 15, 2025.
Venue
The course will be held at the Ibaraki Golf Club, located at 107 Kojimashinden, Mirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
