Admission
To be admitted into the program, applicants must have successfully completed:
- An undergraduate degree, or higher, in agriculture, horticulture, environment, science, technology, or business
- Or an undergraduate degree, or higher, in any discipline with two years of full-time equivalent professional experience in technical or management roles
- Or five years of full-time equivalent professional experience and/or training in technical or management roles
Applicants seeking admission based on work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.

Qualification for this award requires the successful completion of 40 credit points, which include the subjects listed below.

Work Integrated Learning
The program includes a placement or other community-based unpaid practical experience, enhancing student learning by engaging them in the culture, expectations, and practices of their profession or discipline.

The Graduate Certificate in Protected Cropping and the Graduate Diploma in Protected Cropping are not accredited but are recognized by Protected Cropping Australia and the Hydroponic Farmers Federation.
