Introduction to the Spears Living Learning Program

The Spears Living Learning Program is a vibrant, tight-knit residential community designed exclusively for first-year business students at Oklahoma State University. This program provides a unique opportunity for students to live alongside fellow business students who share their passion for success and desire to get involved.

The Spears LLP offers several benefits, including:

• Live with Purpose: Located on the 4th floor of Village E, and the 3rd and 4th floors of Village F, students live alongside fellow Spears students who share their passion for business.
• Learn by Doing: Through interactive workshops, business-focused events, and connections with Spears faculty and professionals, students gain skills that go far beyond the classroom.
• Leadership: The LLP helps students unlock their potential, whether they are discovering their major, exploring leadership opportunities, or building their confidence.
• Build Your Community: From day one, students form close connections with students, faculty, and staff who will support them throughout their college experience and beyond.

• Provides students with leadership opportunities on campus
• Two private study rooms with printer access in each floor
• Reserved Business First Year Seminar class for only LLP students
• CEOs, live-in student staff peer mentors
• Furnished lounge areas and kitchens
• Private bedrooms

Requirements and Expectations

To participate in the Spears LLP, students are expected to:

• Attend Spears School of Business sponsored activities
• Maintain (or earn) a 2.5 GPA
• Participate in small group and large group activities
• Develop professional and leadership skills
• Be involved in Spears School of Business and OSU
• Expand personal and educational interests
• Communicate and network with faculty and staff
• Engage in community building and wellness activities

Eligibility

Incoming first-year students in the Spears School of Business are eligible to participate in the Spears LLP.
