Overview
The Graduate Diploma in Chinese Medicine is an exit program only, designed for students who have commenced their studies in the Master of Chinese Medicine. This program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of Chinese medicine, including its principles, practices, and applications.
Structure
The program consists of 80 credit points, which includes core units, electives, and research protocol design and practice. The core units cover clinical applications of classical Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, and evidence-based practice in Chinese medicine. Students also select two electives at the postgraduate level and complete a research protocol design and practice unit.

- CMPL 7007: Clinical Application of Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine (10 credit points)
- CMPL 7008: Clinical Applications of Classical Acupuncture (10 credit points)
- CMPL 7012: Evidence-Based Practice in Chinese Medicine (10 credit points)
- AGEN 7005: Research Protocol Design and Practice (10 credit points)
- CMPL 7025: Women's Health in Chinese Medicine (10 credit points)
Electives
Students select two electives at the postgraduate level, which can include units such as:
- HLTH 7008: Introduction to Biostatistics
- PUBH 7016: Introduction to Epidemiology
