Program Overview

Biophysics M.Sc. Program

The Biophysics M.Sc. program is a two-year master's degree that provides comprehensive training in modern biophysics, preparing students for the interdisciplinarity of modern life sciences. The program allows students to tailor their studies to their personal interests through a variety of elective modules and special events.

Program Structure

  • The program requires students to earn a total of 120 credits.
  • Students must complete a master's thesis (30 credits) at the end of their studies, applying their creativity and knowledge to solve a current problem.
  • The first two semesters consist mainly of lectures, practical courses, and seminars.
  • The last two semesters are dedicated to a one-year research phase, including two research projects and the master's thesis.

Study Plans

FSPO 2024

  • The study plan recommends the order in which certain modules should be completed.
  • By the end of the third semester, students must have earned 45 ECTS credits.
  • The master's study must be completed within 7 semesters.

FSPO 2014

  • Study content and module overview are available for students enrolled under the 2014 study and examination regulations.
