Introduction to the Master's Program

The Master's Universitario en Sistemas de Información Digital (Master's in Digital Information Systems) is a postgraduate program offered by the Universidad de Salamanca. This program has been continuously imparted since its inception and has undergone verification by the Consejo de Universidades. The new study plan was implemented after successfully passing the verification process, and the program has been reaccredited in 2017 and 2021.

The Master's program proposes an advanced and specialized education in digital information management, enabling graduates to work innovatively in various information environments, both in the public and private sectors. The program's duration is one academic year, structured into eight compulsory subjects (48 ECTS), external practices (6 ECTS), and a final master's thesis (6 ECTS).

Academic and Professional Profile

The program aims to provide students with the skills necessary to work in various digital information systems, such as digital libraries, web service portals, repositories, and collections of digital assets. Graduates will be capable of working in different services and systems of digital information, both in open-access information media and in intranets, as well as in general and multidisciplinary information contexts and specialized information environments.
