Introduction to the Pasarela al Grado Universitario for Pilots Program

The Pasarela al Grado Universitario for Pilots program, offered by Adventia, the Escuela de Pilotos of the Universidad de Salamanca, is an academic program designed for professional pilots. This program allows pilots with a professional license to complete their education with a solid university foundation.

Program Overview

The Curso Pasarela de AdaptaciÛn al Grado offers professional pilots the opportunity to obtain the official university degree of Grado en Piloto de AviaciÛn Comercial y Operaciones AÈreas, recognized by the European Higher Education Area (EEES), in just one academic year. This academic program, taught at the Campus Universitario de Matac·n, enables pilots with a professional license to complete their training with a strong university base.

Program Structure

  • The program is taught in a semi-presential mode, combining previous professional experience with updated university content and personalized academic tutoring.
  • The program culminates in the preparation of a Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG), in which students apply the knowledge acquired to analyze or develop projects related to operational safety, air operations management, or innovation in the aeronautical sector.

Importance of the Program

The director of Adventia, Gonzalo MartÌn, highlighted "the importance of university education as a guarantee of professional excellence" and congratulated the students "on starting this new stage that will allow them to complete their training with a university degree of reference in the aeronautical field."

Collaboration and Recognition

The president of SEPLA, Francisco Miragaya, emphasized that "airlines seek excellence in pilots, and more and more professionals are opting to complete their profile with higher education, closing the circle with a university degree." He also highlighted the collaboration between SEPLA and Adventia to "promote the academic and professional development of Spanish pilots, strengthening the link between the university and the aviation sector."

Conclusion

With this new edition, Adventia consolidates its leadership as a reference center in university education for pilots in Spain and Europe.
