Proseminar Embedded Systems
The Proseminar Embedded Systems is a seminar that focuses on the development of embedded systems. The seminar covers various aspects of embedded systems, including their design, analysis, and implementation.
Learning objectives
The learning objectives of the seminar include:
- Understanding the fundamental relationships and challenges that arise during the development of embedded systems
- Learning to work independently in a scientific field
Topics
The seminar covers two main topics:
- Embedded systems: real-time systems (Frank Slomka)
- Embedded systems: Reliable and secure systems (Michael Glaß)
Process
The seminar consists of two lectures with two thematic focuses.
Elaboration
The seminar requires a written paper with a minimum length of 6 pages, which should be submitted as a PDF.
Presentation
The presentation should last approximately 20 minutes, followed by a discussion round of approximately 10 minutes. The presentation can be created using the book "Slide:ology: Or the Art of Developing Brilliant Presentations" by Nacy Duarte.
Theses
The institute offers various topics for final theses, including:
