The Work Health and Safety Risk Management course is an online program designed for staff, research higher degree candidates, honours, or other students. The course is available at all times and can be accessed through the Flinders Learning Online (FLO) platform.
Course Description
The course covers basic risk management principles and their application to using risk assessment templates. It consists of two modules, including a case study, and short quizzes.
Sub Courses
A subsidiary course, College of Medicine and Public Health - seminar, is delivered in person and focuses on the preparation of Safe Work Procedure (SWP) and Risk Assessment (RA). This seminar covers:
- Where to find the necessary forms
- How to fill out the forms and what information needs to be included
Eligibility
The course is open to:
- Staff
- Research Higher Degree candidates
- Honours or other students
Note for Staff
Full-time, continuing, or fixed-term staff members are required to complete the training through the Staff Learning Portal.
